Backup/Restore

You should do frequent backups to avoid the loss of data if your computer breaks down. In such a situation, you will be able to restore the data from your last backup which will minimise the amount of data you have to type in again.

Click on the Down-Arrow to select the disk where you want to backup to, or restore from.

You can select a hard drive or a memory stick, etc.

Click on the Backup button to copy the current audit to the selected disk.

When finished, a completion message will be shown.

Click on the Restore button to copy the audit database from the selected disk and overwrite the current audit.

You will be prompted to confirm that this is what you want to do.

The audit database on the disk has a number associated with it. If it does not match the current audit number, a message will be given.

When finished, a completion message will be shown.
